Verizon Wireless has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4
8.0 will be available on their network from the 26th of June.
The tablet
features 8-inch HD Display that has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, quad core Qualcomm APQ 8026 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz,
there is also 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage. Other specifications
on Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 include a MicroSD card slot for expansion that will take up to a 64GB card, dual-band (2.4GHz + 5.0GHZ) Wi-Fi 802.11
a/b/g/n connectivity,
Bluetooth 4.0 (LE), HDMI port, Micro USB 2.0 port, GPS with GLONASS. The tablet also comes with 1.3MP front and 3.0MP rear facing cameras. On
the front of the Tab 4 8.0 we have a 3 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3
megapixel front camera, the device also features a 4,450 mAh battery (Up to 12 Hours Standard Usage Time) and comes with Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat.
Its
Multi-User Mode allows different
users to have individual profiles to log on to the tablet, which offers each
person the ability to choose their own wallpaper, apps, password and more. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 can act as a TV
guide and remote control with the WatchON app. The tablet also allows you to have up to 2 multi-window supported apps
open at once.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 will be available online and in Verizon Wireless stores for $379.99,
and for a limited time, the tablet will be available for $279.99 with a new
two-year activation.
